Watch Identifier Value Scanner — Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 22, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, shared, and protected when you use the mobile app Watch Identifier Value Scanner (the “App”) and its related services (together, the “Services”). It applies specifically to Watch Identifier Value Scanner as published on Google Play. If you do not agree with this Policy, do not use the App.

Who we are

Watch Identifier Value Scanner is developed and published by Abdullah YILMAZ, an independent app developer operating under the studio brand “Fastemy.” Abdullah YILMAZ is the developer named on the App's Google Play store listing and is the party responsible for (the data controller of) the personal information described in this Policy. In this Policy, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Abdullah YILMAZ, operating as Fastemy.

  • App: Watch Identifier Value Scanner (Google Play)
  • Developer / data controller: Abdullah YILMAZ (Fastemy)
  • Privacy contact: contact@fastemy.com
  • Website: https://fastemy.com

1) Scope and how this Policy works

Abdullah YILMAZ (Fastemy) is the data controller for personal information processed via the Services. This Policy covers Watch Identifier Value Scanner only; other apps published by Abdullah YILMAZ are covered by the general Fastemy Privacy Policy. The specific categories of data this App collects, and the purposes for which they are used, are also disclosed on the App's Google Play listing in the “Data safety” section. That store disclosure, together with any in-app notices, should be read alongside this Policy and controls where it describes the App's practices in more detail.

2) Information we may collect

The exact data collected depends on the features you use, and is listed in the App's Google Play “Data safety” section. In general, the App may collect some or all of the following categories:

  • Photos and camera input: the images you capture or select in order to scan and identify a watch. Camera and photo access is requested only when you use a feature that needs it, and you can revoke that permission at any time in your device settings.
  • Account & profile data: such as name or nickname, email address, password or sign-in token, and in-app preferences (only where the App offers accounts).
  • Purchase & subscription data: product, plan, status, renewal, and country as provided by Google. We do not receive your full payment card details; purchases are processed by Google Play.
  • App and device data: device model, operating system version, language/locale, time zone, app version, performance metrics, diagnostics, and crash logs.
  • Usage data: interactions with features, timestamps, in-app events, and traffic data.
  • Identifiers: device identifiers and, only with your permission, advertising identifiers (for example, the Android Advertising ID) used for tracking or ads.
  • User content: text, images, or other content you upload or generate in the App, including scan history where the App stores it for you.
  • Support communications: messages you send to us, including attachments and metadata.

3) How we use information (purposes)

We use information to:

  • Provide, operate, and secure the Services, including processing the images you scan in order to return identification results and related details.
  • Process purchases and manage subscriptions.
  • Diagnose and fix issues, improve performance, and develop new features.
  • Communicate with you about updates, changes, and service messages.
  • Provide analytics and, if you opt in, personalized or interest-based advertising and measurement.
  • Prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

4) Legal bases (EEA/UK)

Where GDPR/UK GDPR applies, our processing is based on:

  • Contract necessity (to provide the Services you request).
  • Consent (for optional tracking/ads and certain notifications).
  • Legitimate interests (for security, analytics, service improvement) balanced against your rights.
  • Legal obligation (record-keeping, compliance, and responding to lawful requests).

5) Tracking, advertising, and your choices

Where the App uses tracking across apps and websites owned by other companies, we request your permission first. On Android, you can reset or delete your Advertising ID and opt out of ad personalization in your device settings, and you can limit ad personalization through your Google account settings.

You can change these choices at any time at the device level. Camera, photo, and notification permissions can likewise be granted or revoked at any time in your device settings.

6) How we share information

We may share information with:

  • Service providers/“processors” that help us operate the Services (for example, hosting, AI/image recognition processing, analytics, crash reporting, customer support).
  • Google, to process purchases, subscriptions, and billing.
  • Legal/Compliance recipients when required by law, to protect users, or to enforce our rights.
  • Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale (your information remains protected under this Policy or a successor policy offering at least equivalent protection).

We do not sell your personal information. If we “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising where applicable law recognizes this concept, we will honor opt-out rights (see Section 9).

7) Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described above, including providing the Services, complying with legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing agreements. Retention periods vary by data type and context. When no longer needed, we take steps to delete or de-identify information.

8) Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information (for example, encryption in transit, access controls, and restricted access). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9) Your privacy rights

EEA/UK (GDPR/UK GDPR)

You may have the right to access, rectify, erase, or port your data, restrict or object to certain processing, and withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing. You can also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. We will respond within applicable statutory timelines.

California (CCPA/CPRA)

California residents may have the right to know/access categories and specific pieces of personal information, delete personal information, correct inaccuracies, opt out of sale or sharing of personal information, limit use of sensitive personal information (where applicable), and be free from discrimination for exercising rights.

How to exercise your rights

Email contact@fastemy.com or use the in-app support channel, and state that your request concerns Watch Identifier Value Scanner. For purchases, some actions (for example, refunds or subscription management) must be completed through Google Play. We may ask you to verify your identity and account ownership.

10) Children's privacy

Watch Identifier Value Scanner is a general-audience app and is not intended for children under 13 (or the equivalent age as defined by local law). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Parents can review, delete, and refuse further collection of a child's information by contacting us. Do not misrepresent age or consent status.

11) International data transfers

We may process and store information in countries outside your country of residence. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards for international transfers (for example, standard contractual clauses) and take steps designed to ensure an equivalent level of protection.

12) Third-party services and SDK disclosures

The App may contain third-party components (for example, AI/image recognition, analytics, diagnostics, crash reporting, advertising, or messaging). The specific third parties used are reflected in the App's Google Play “Data safety” disclosures. Those providers process information on our behalf and under our instructions, and their handling of data is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. You can limit certain data uses via device settings, in-app controls (where provided), and by withholding consent for tracking/ads.

13) Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be effective when posted (or as otherwise specified). Your continued use of the App after changes become effective means you accept the updated Policy.
